Digital interactions: social uses of the Internet in ethnographic perspective
Description:
This study seeks to investigate the interactions initiated from Internet environments. The central purpose consists in describing and analyzing aspects of the interactional dynamic established between participants of social interactions in digital environment. Specifically, the intention is to discuss the particular forms through which interactional arrangements are organized, as well as the relations of belonging and recognition among participants, based on theories of enunciation and social interaction. The study aims to characterize this media environment as the ideal locus for the intersection between cyberculture, social practices, and computer technology.
