This research project discusses the effects of digital political communication in Brazilian democracy. In this context, the project analyzes the impacts and potentialities of the Web in institutional, representative, informative, participative, and deliberative plans of politics in Brazil. The project is developed in the domain of the Research Group in Communication, Internet and Politics at PUC-Rio (COMP) and involves studies on internet and political information, internet and public sphere, internet and political transparency, internet and political representation, internet and participation, internet and deliberation, internet and elections, etc.
